NURTURING OURSELVES
Being with your kids in this empathic, connected & hands-on way demands a lot from you. It requires you to look at what's going on for you - now & in the past - so that you can truly be in the present.
You need support in order to be able to do this. Physical support & emotional support.
You need to take time out just for yourself. To be nurtured & nourished. Without our children.
The more you can do this, the more you can return refreshed, energised and ready to give to your family. You are modelling for your children and showing them how you want them to treat themselves when they become parents.
You are claiming nourishment for you.
This can often bring up big resistance. Feelings of guilt. Fears around being extravagant or selfish. A sense of lack of time or resources.
So this week, let's work on reducing these barriers, on bringing balance back to your family, and moving towards a truly enriching day-to-day life for ALL.
